How Can I Be Involved?
Community Workshop
The Community Workshop was held on May 19, 2026, at the Springdale Public Library. The community members had the opportunity to provide input via comment cards, by adding markup comments to the large format map, or by providing comment on the online community survey. Input from the meeting was evaluated and changes were reflected on the updated draft of the Future Land Use map and the draft Land Use Categories language.
Additional Meetings
The City Council and Planning Commission held a kickoff meeting for the Future Land Use Plan on May 4, 2026, in the Springdale Council Chambers
The Planning Commission will consider the proposed plan update at the August 4, 2026, Planning Commission meeting for review and recommendation. The City Council will subsequently review and potentially vote to adopt the proposed plan update at the August 11, 2026, or the August 25, 2026, City Council Meeting (this will be confirmed once the agenda is set).
